Mass Etiquette & Attire

To maintain the sanctity of the Holy Mass, we kindly request all parishioners and visitors to observe proper church etiquette and dress modestly.

  • Do wear modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees.
  • Do wear collared shirts, blouses, trousers, or modest dresses.
  • Avoid sleeveless tops, shorts, mini-skirts, or revealing outfits.
  • Avoid slippers or flip-flops; please wear proper footwear.
Prayer and Reverence

Reverence & Participation

  • Arrive early: Aim to be seated 10-15 minutes before Mass begins to pray.
  • Genuflect: Bend your right knee towards the Tabernacle before entering your pew.
  • Fast: Observe the Eucharistic fast 1 hour before receiving Holy Communion.
  • Participate: Join warmly in the singing and spoken responses.
No Mobile Phones

Distractions to Avoid

  • No phones: Please turn off or silence your mobile devices. No texting during Mass.
  • No food or drink: Chewing gum and snacks are strictly prohibited (water for medical reasons is allowed).
  • No chatting: Keep unnecessary conversations for outside the church after Mass.
  • Don't leave early: Please stay in your pew until the priest gives the final blessing and processes out.
